m.a.c. Paran Consulting Services, Inc.is one of the most established asbestos management firms in the Tri-State area. Our staff, including former regulatory officials, has over 50 years of combined experience in the asbestos management field.

Our involvement typically starts with identification of asbestos-containing building materials. In this phase of the project, we identify, quantify and assess the condition of building materials determined to contain asbestos. We pride ourselves on being staffed with some of the most experienced, thorough inspectors in the profession. It is ingrained in our inspectors, by management, to take the necessary time to identify all potentially suspect materials. As part of written report we include abatement priorities and budgetary abatement estimates.

Once the asbestos has been identified and prioritized, we are able to develop technical abatement specifications. They include bidding documents, special conditions related to the specific needs of the project, abatement design, and clearance criteria. We also take an active approach in soliciting bids from asbestos abatement contractors with established track records.

We manage the asbestos abatement project from initial arrival of the abatement contractor to final air sampling. Activities during this phase include on-site inspection of work performance, area air sampling, management of regulatory agent inspections, clearance inspections, and development of a final report to document the project from start to finish. One unique service offered by m.a.c. Paran Consulting Services, Inc. is onsite analysis of area and clearance air samples.

We provide support for management of asbestos in place, including periodic air sampling, training of maintenance and custodial personnel, and written operations and maintenance program development.
