m.a.c. Paran Consulting Services, Inc. provided full time safety oversight of the Fort Washington Way Highway re-construction project. m.a.c. Paran was responsible for all OSHA compliance issues relating to the hundreds of workers that completed the highway re-construction project. m.a.c. Paran received many acknowledgements and awards for the low accident rate obtained on the project.

m.a.c. Paran is currently performing ongoing industrial hygiene consulting for several large, Cincinnati-based manufacturing facilities. Services include airborne exposure sampling, ventilation measurements, ventilation design for exposure control, and accident investigation. m.a.c. Paran also provides respirator fit testing and training on various OSHA related topics.

m.a.c. Paran has conducted several indoor air quality investigations in both the commercial, manufacturing and residential settings. Services included airborne sampling for mold, swab and bulk sampling, psychometric readings and material moisture documentation. We pride ourselves for having a positive track record for developing a common sense and cost sensitive approach.

m.a.c. Paran has performed consulting services for two local Department of Energy facilities. Services included site safety, personal exposure assessments for lead and asbestos, radiation scanning of asbestos air and bulk samples (prior to analysis), and soil scanning for volatile organic compounds.

m.a.c. Paran conducted asbestos inspections and monitoring in over 400 residential properties as part of the Federal Aviation Administration Noise Abatement Program. A final report was developed to document material type, location, condition, and abatement cost estimates. m.a.c. Paran was also retained to develop both asbestos abatement and building demolition specifications, and perform project management within approximately 200 houses.

m.a.c. Paran Consulting Services, Inc. recently conducted several multi unit lead-based paint inspection projects for HUD sponsored housing. Because m.a.c. Paran owns a direct reading x-ray fluorescence device, we were able to provide timely and response project completion. Final report formats included executive summary, sampling strategy, line drawings of each unit, XRF sample data, and certificates and licenses for personnel and equipment. We were also actively involved in conducting elevated blood lead level investigations in children on an as needed basis, conducting over 20 to date.

m.a.c. Paran currently works for two of Cincinnatis largest medical centers, providing asbestos and lead-based paint containing materials management. Technical services for both asbestos and lead have included inspection, project management, abatement design, inspections, area and clearance sampling, and final report submission.

m.a.c. Paran conducted asbestos inspections in over 90 campus buildings owned by an Ohio-based college, as part of a campus-wide building improvement project. A final report was developed, per building, to document material type, location and condition. Subsequent to the inspection activities, m.a.c. Paran was retained to develop abatement specifications and to conduct project oversite and air sampling.
