m.a.c Paran, a certified women owned business, was incorporated in 1990 by Michelle Paraniuk. The company was originally founded to assist the public and private sectors in managing asbestos issues, and was expanded early on to include indoor air quality and environmental due diligence. A measure of our success is that more than 80 percent of our projects represent repeat business, with referrals making up the bulk of the remainder.
As m.a.c. Paran has grown, so have our areas of expertise. We currently employ Certified Industrial Hygienists, a LEED Accredited Professional, a member of the Ohio Board of Radon, eight licensed asbestos professionals and six licensed lead professionals.
To better position ourselves and our partners for government contract and set-aside work, we also hold Encouraging Diversity Growth & Equity (E.D.G.E.), Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (D.B.E.), Female Business Enterprise (F.B.E.) and Small Business Enterprise (S.B.E.) certifications. We are pre-qualified with the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT).
Our clients include industry, schools and universities, law firms, private equity firms, developers, engineering and architectural firms, government agencies, NGOs, commercial real estate brokers, and financial institutions.
