After serving as an Asbestos Inspector for the Environmental Protection Agency, Ms. Paraniuk entered the private consulting sector as an Industrial Hygienist. She has owned and operated m.a.c. Paran Consulting Services, Inc. for the past 20+ years. She performs on-site assessments, project design, and reviews company work product and performance.

Professional Highlights
- Performed hazardous materials, asbestos, and lead-based paint inspections at the NASA John Glenn Research Center (NASA) in Cleveland, Ohio. mac Paran also provides two Industrial Hygienists to NASA on a 5 year outsourcing contract to manage their employee exposures and other classified and non-classified indoor air quality and building material issues.
- Working with personal physicians, Michelle investigated indoor air quality and known chemical and biological personal exposures within residential and commercial properties of multiple Fortune 500 company CEO’s experiencing hypersensitivity disorders.
- Onsite Health and Safety Director for the Cincinnati Fort Washington Way Re-development project.
- Performed emergency Anthrax sampling for an International Pharmaceutical company.
- Performed multiple air quality, asbestos, and industrial hygiene assessments at Wright Patterson Air Force Base.
- Provided Training and Asbestos Services to the National Institute for Occupational Safety & Health.
- Performed onsite safety and city-wide air quality studies during the implosion of Cinergy Field, the former home of the Cincinnati Bengals and Cincinnati Reds.
- Assisted Duke Energy in developing safe and practical work practices to ensure employee health during underground molten lead and asbestos operations.
- Delivered hundreds of training courses for asbestos, lead-based paint, and other general health, safety, and environmental topics.
- Has performed design and oversite for the remediation of over 2000 asbestos, lead, and mold remediation projects.
- Performed personal exposure sampling for countless number of hazards, including asbestos, lead, welding fumes, metals, volatile organic compounds, silica, particulates, and many others.
